Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, reconciliations, and record keeping. This role ensures the accurate and timely reporting of all financial transactions, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and performs regular account reconciliations. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance to ensure compliance with all accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax-related matters.
How our Senior Accountant will spend their time:
- Oversee a small team of offshore AR/AP staff and potential accounting consultants;
- Accurately and efficiently enter bills into Sage Intacct;
- Print vendor checks and assist in managing petty cash;
- Upload credit card charges and verify credit card statements;
- Generate Channel Partner payments;
- Manage employee reimbursements;
- Prepare journal entries;
- Maintain accurate financial statements and assist with financial modeling;
- Generate and deliver accurate financial reports;
- Support the Finance Department by answering phone calls and managing emails;
- Assist with billing inquiries, adjustments, and collections;
- Play an active role in the invoicing process;
- Perform monthly account reconciliations;
- Conduct research as assigned and present findings clearly and comprehensively;
- Maintain files in accordance with regulatory compliance requirements;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required;
- Minimum of two years of progressive experience in accounting, including bookkeeping and financial reporting (experience in a business setting preferred);
- Experience with Sage Intacct preferred;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks;
- Demonstrated team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
